Releasing Frustrations
Everyone becomes frustrated from time to time. Eventually we come to our breaking point where we need to release the frustration which doesn’t always happen in a productive way. Some people become angry and demanding. They may even cause a scene to try and resolve the problem they are having. Others will withdraw, become miserable and begin to cry. It is not their intention to cause the person they are dealing with to feel bad, it is just their way of letting go of their frustrations. It is interesting that neither of these extremes bring about a resolution. Sometimes we have the option of walking away, to regroup and rethink how we wish to proceed. Other times we have no choice but to find a way to stay calm until we are able to let go of our frustrations in a healthy and productive way. Slowly breathe in and breathe out as many times as it takes so that we are able to move forward to a solution that is best for us. Please feel free to share, if you are so inspired.
