I've learned to like books in my 30s...when I felt I had the time to relax reading a book. One of my favorite books in 100 years of solitude by Gabriel García Marquez. It is difficult to read..yet takes you on a wild magical journey (no wonder is the book that began "Magical Realism") I - gifted this book to a friend in Washington who is going thru her own journey as she has relocated and is recovering from a car accident.. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did. I also gifted 3 autographed poetry books to my nephew who wants to practice reading and enunciating in Spanish. The female poets Dr. Liliante Brintrup and Glady Illaregui, are alive and writing poetry in the USA as female Intelectual Hispanic immigrants presenting a lot of perspectives and sentiments our family appreciates.
