🎃 I don’t know if the annual hordes of trick or treaters will descend on our neighborhood as in past years, but I will fill my decorated Halloween carton with mini bags of pretzels & leave it out on our porch....I have no contact with the kiddies...look at them & smile through the glass screen door & only go out to refill the carton....in my younger days I’d run to the door each time the bell rang, with our dog running with me, lol.....I’m not exaggerating when I tell you they descend en masses in our area...it is cute to see the wee ones in costume.
I don’t give out sweets because I feel pretzels are a healthier choice, even though the kids prefer sweets, I know. Plus, with my sweet tooth, half the goodies are gone by the time Halloween comes🤣. I ordered mini-bags of pretzels decorated with Halloween images & include peace doves, kindness cards & you matter cards in the treat carton as well 💗
2020 has changed things so much....I wonder if the city will ban trick-or-treating in fear of it posing a covid spread. 🎃
