Today's challenge was a good one because it gave me a chance to reflect back on different times that people have done something for me that was unexpected but so appreciated. The one that stands out in my mind was when the mother of one of my students wrote me a lovely letter praising me for the difference I had made with her son throughout the years (he was a special needs student who I had in class in grade school). This touched my heart and meant so much to me, as many days with special needs kids can be difficult. So because of this reminder I contacted that mother and told her how much she had given me with that letter. Better than gold! â¤ï¸
