I woke dreaming these words. I wasn't sure whether to share them, but I thought of our tribe and thought, "Why not?" They fit with this week's theme on under1000skies, vision.
People fill the container you hold out to them. If you hold out the container of a small, insignificant human, then that is all you will see. It's so much easier to hate someone you believe to be insignificant.
But if you hold out a container of greatness, expecting the best from people, it is almost always what you will see. When a person sees someone looking at them with kindness, and treating them as if they are great, they respond from their heart.
We all want to be great. We all want to be seen with the eyes of kindness.
