I am now on the countdown to my operation. I have a regime to help me not have or get an infection whilst in hospital.
Whilst out this morning, I met a few friends including Lynn who lives further down our street. Her dog passed last September and in February she took a retired greyhound called Chloe - sadly Chloe was very ill and so Lynn has lost her as well.
She didn't tell me until after she'd asked how I was and how the procedure went yesterday. She is a great friend.
