A Truck Full of Winter Kindness
My mother always has an extra blanket, boots and other extra snow stuff in our car's trunk in cases of emergencies. Once when we were driving in bad weather, we saw that a car had gone off of the side of the road.
We pulled over and asked if we could help them. They were stuck in a ditch and we couldn't do much about getting them out, but the least we could do while they waited for emergency services was to give them all of the extra things in our trunk. They were very thankful.
