Using Lunch Monday to Help a Stranger
While biking I came across an old man who had a flat tire on the side of the road and looked as if he needed help. I decided to stop and help this man. It turned out that he did not have the right size tube and then i remebered that right around the block was a bike store.
The man had left his wallet at home and I remembered I had my lunch money. I decided to use this money to go buy him the right-size tube. I was not worried about buying the man a tube as I knew he would appreciate this kind act. I also didn't worry about eating a lunch because by doing this kind act, I became full with the smile he had given me after I helped him.

Kindness and Love on Valentine's Day
Today is Valentine's day so I decided to start off my day by buying a dozen roses. I wanted to do something with each individual rose and wanted to tie some kindness in to distributing these roses.
I gave the first rose out of the dozen with a Smile Card to my mom: a very important woman in my life. I gave the remaining 11 to my friends at my high-school, each with a Smile Card attached.
The friend I gave the last friend rose to said, "Aww... what a compassionate act."
The outcome was great and I know the ripples of kindness have started for my friends today! We are all loved and tying kindness onto a day of love is something that I will hope to be part of everyone's life. :)
