This morning whilst shopping at the supermarket, I joined one of the queues to check out. There were two tills and the progress on both of them was slow. Eventually, the customer in front of me was about to move to the checkout and I noticed an older lady behind with three items in my basket so I told her to go ahead of me. The customer in front of me, said 'You can go in front of me too!. The lady thanked us both and I said, 'It costs nothing to be kind' and the customer in front of me agreed.
