Yesterday, I rested and only walked about half a mile. Today, I'm grateful that I can ride Solomon for 15 minutes without too much knee pain afterward. I'm also thankful for Maria Popova's book Figuring, which I listen to as I do dishes and chores. Today, I heard the story of Elizabeth Barrett Browning and her poem Aurora Leigh, which I found on the Guttenberg site. It's a novel poem. I've only read a few of the 158 pages. It's sublime. I would have loved to have known her and her beloved poet husband, Robert Browning.
