Stories of Kindness from Around the World

I've been quite busy lately but yesterday I met Richard, Ruth and Jack in Durham. We went for a meal at a Turkish restaurant which had been recommended to us by a friend who's husband is Turkish. Ruth and I agreed it was such a privilege to have such delicious food. It was Richard's birthday last Thursday so the meal was a good way to celebrate his birthday.

We exchanged presents too. I gave Richard a jumper and a knitted duck; he gave me a bag and a book which I can make notes in for my birthday in a few weeks. I gave Ruth Ollie the Octopus - see photo; she gave me a storage box, some handmade cork robin earrings and a new blouse for mother's day a few weeks ago and my birthday in a few weeks time.

It was a lovely day!
