Heart warming story of Kindness and creativity

On New Year's Eve in 2018, the streets of Panjrapole Cross Road in Ahmedabad were alive with the spirit of generosity and hope.

Under the banner of an NGO "Act of Kindness', MS S and about40 volunteers guided by MS K embarked on a mission to spread joy, distributing about 3,000 quote cards to strangers passing by. MS K is really a God sent help who invited me to this Angelic event.

Among the hustle and bustle of the busy traffic, Balloon boys sold balloons and their humble earnings were dedicated to funding the education of under- privileged children. This NGO also undertakes other kindness activities such as providing food to the needy.

Volunteers of all ages distributed quote cards. This occasion was more than just a celebration of New Year's Eve--it was a movement of small gestures making a lasting impact.

It was amidst this act of giving quote cards, that I first met MS S—a fleeting encounter with a larger mission of spreading good will.

Our paths would cross again, this time at an exhibition, where I handed out quote cards and beautiful Birthday cards to MS S and other exhibitors and visitors on site……….

It was here that MS S's golden heart drew closer. She was enchanted with the artistic quote cards and Birthday cards and the profound words within the cards touched her immensely.

MS S expressed deep admiration for the cards and was keenly desirous of learning the art of making birthday cards...this was the beginning of a meaningful connection between two kindred spirits. It became the foundation of a friendship rooted in kindness. Her 3-4 visits to learn this creative art, gave birth to a "Granddaughter-Grandfather" relationship.

My talks on Positive thinking reminded her of her Grandfather. She now fondly calls me "Dadu." Once, her Dad too came with her to visit me. I sent some bookmarks etc.to him to share with school children as I had promised him to do so.

Recently, I sent MS S a parcel that weighted about 25 lbs. as shown in the image. This parcel of more bookmarks, quote cards and books ....

From distributing book marks, books and quote cards to empowering school kids and others through creativity, my goal has been to leave a positive imprint whatever I do or wherever I go.

The bond with MS S became another example of how kindness has the power to bring people together.

I hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. I’ve been hoping that you’re feeling well and taking good care of yourself. Your strength and presence are such a blessing in my life, and I pray that you continue to stay healthy and happy always.

Today, I received the parcel you sent and I can’t even express how grateful and touched I feel. The moment I opened it, my heart lit up. Seeing the templates and the books filled me with joy and inspiration. You always put so much thought and love into everything you do, and this was no exception.

It’s more than just a gift, it’s a reflection of your love, your wisdom, and your unwavering support. I truly cherish it, and I promise to read every page with care and intention. I’ll carry forward the knowledge and values it offers, and I’ll make sure to spread the goodness with the same spirit that you’ve always taught me.

Dadu, thank you from the bottom of my heart for always thinking of me, guiding me, and believing in me. Your love means more to me than words can say. I feel so blessed to have you in my life, and I’m sending you all my love, respect, and prayers for continued good health and happiness.
