Stories of Kindness from Around the World

Cold Feet

--by Asslin, posted Dec 7, 2015
We are doing a sock drive for the homeless. The one thing that the homeless always say to me is that they need is socks. People donate clothing, shoes, jackets but never new socks. It makes sense that people do not think to donate socks.

Last night I went shopping and bought a bunch of ladies and men's socks. I will bring them in to work today with a happy heart knowing that someone's feet will soon be warm (I bought the really warm socks!). When you think about it, if your feet are really cold, you just feel horrible and cold all over. I am so thankful that my company started this drive and that we will make a lot of toes happy and warm this winter!
