A Donut Completes the Circle

Did you ever wonder if your goodness would have been unleashed and passed on to others if you hadn't started visiting this site? Many times I do things and thoughts of stories I've read come to my mind and I think "thank goodness" for Helpothers and the inspiration it is to me.

Yesterday, I received a $10 gift card to Dunkin Donuts for a job well done at work. I was so happy to get it. Then later during the day a kind lady came in to register her children for religious ed classes and wrote me two checks, one for her children and another for a child whose family she wanted to help out. I thought that was the sweetest act of kindness! I hugged her and told her what a wonderful friend she was to that family.

Today as I was reading some stories on this site, I thought, wow, I'm going to give my Dunkin Donuts gift card to that lady. So I wrote an annonymous note telling her that this was some kindness being sent back to her for being so kind to others all the time. I will drop it in the mail to her with a Smile Card of course :0)!!!
