Recently one evening a pipe burst outside my front house. It was very damp, rainy, and cold outside and a bunch of workmen had to come out to fix it.They were there several hours on a weeknight, when they could have been home with their families. So, I decided to bake a big batch of brownies and bring them outside to them, along with some coffee, to give them a lift. Needless to say, they looked happy. But I was happier!
