A Different Kind of Gift For The Teachers This Year

--by brindlegirl, posted Dec 9, 2016
It's almost Christmas time!!!

And as a mum. That for me means teachers gifts! Today these arrived. Cards to gift my son's teachers. The cards are actually the gift (although I'll purchase a small wrapped gift to go with). The cards are charity gifts. Such a great idea!

One card says I have paid for a teacher to be trained in an underdeveloped country in their name. And the other is school tuition and classes for a child who cannot afford. Sounds expensive doesn't it? But really it isn't. $20 or $30 that is it. What a gift.

My son's teachers would no doubt get so many presents every year from their students. So many boxes of chocolates and wine. Which is why I chose this. Education for those that have none in their name 💜

I think a $20 gift is a lot considering you have 3 boys and lots of other people to gift at the Christmas season and, you're also thinking of a small gift wrapped gift too. Your heart really is MASSIVE. X 💓 Great gifts too. X 💓

My husband and I pay for a Yr 6 girl to go to school for yr 7&8 when free schooling stops in Vanuatu. We are hoping to get a letter requesting us to continue our sponsorship of her to go to high school. Paying for someones education is a gift not only to the child, but their community. You really do think of great ideas.
