This year I did my Christmas Day card delivery round on my own as my wife was playing host to the family. I'd also procrastinated with actually writing the cards, so on Christmas Eve I locked myself in the study and hand wrote 50 Christmas Cards to give out to people who have to work on Christmas Day. Each one had a lottery scratch card inside and by the 50 th envelope I'd licked, I think I was ready to throw up. Time for a cup of tea, or maybe something stronger;-) I still feel that a hand written card is so much more personal than having them printed.
