A Fire Department Rallies Together For A Colleague

--by basherwinner, posted Apr 12, 2017
My fire department captain has a brain tumor. We had a fundraiser for him and his family to help with medical expenses. I had the people that came to the fundraiser write messages to Mike on a erasable white board.

I then loaded them along with many other photos of friends, and encouraging words, and scenic photos of our area on a digital frame and gave them to him. I also downloaded it all on a flash drive so he could play it on another device.   My goal was when he gets discouraged or feels alone he can play the slide show to remind him of all the people that love and care for him.
