I stayed out of it and gave my wor mate a smile card. I left it on her desk. The mood of the office changed. I was an annonomous giver although this helped as noone knew who it was . It is not the card itself but the thought and motive behind it that was resposible for his smile! .
What ever you do with a kind thought will never fail to produce a ripple effect and who knows, your daughter's friend might have passed on the kindness to someone else.
