Stories of Kindness from Around the World

Taking Time to Care

--by bluqtgyrl, posted Sep 27, 2019
We're encouraged to be nice to other people. However, most people forget to be nice to their environment. Global warming is quite a big issue today in the 21st century.

Pollution causes greenhouse gases to stay in Earth's atmosphere, increasing the temperature of the globe, melting glaciers in the north and south, causing abnormal weather behavior.

Simple things you can do every day can help preserve the Earth, prevent the extinction of animals such as the polar bear, and make the earth a better place to live for you, your children, and future generations to come.

Tons and tons of carbon dioxide are emitted by cars every day, contributing to the climate crisis. We need to take action NOW to help slow down or even eliminate this problem.

There are many ways to help reduce global warming. Some ways are to carpool, take public transportation, bike, or walk. This saves you gas and money. I walk or bike whenever I can. It's a very good exercise as well. If I have to go to a place and I can't walk, I'll take the public transportation. I've very glad that the City of New York has decided to use hybrid buses.

I also try to encourage friends and family to do the same in order to reduce CO2 emissions. If everyone did something to help, together we can make a difference. For more information, please visit the site,

I'd like to thank everyone for reading this post, for letting me share, and for caring. THANK YOU.

Relocation of job or house/apartment near job can also save gas. The very first thing is positive mindset. We all know that, when there is a will, there is a way. This post shows your love for mother nature. Thanks

Yep, agree on reducing our car driving...hubby rides to work as much as possible, I walk. I also save as many errands as possible and map out a route to hit each store and circle home, shortest route.

We can all do our part--very important...besides walking and biking improves our health as well.

THANK YOU too for doing your part and sharing your story and motivation with us and others....Smiles from "Eyes" ;)

We only have one World and we have to look after it.

My son is the Government north east Climate Change Champion, he gives talks around the country, we went to 10 Downing Street and met the then Prime Minister Tony Blair.

Thank you so much for caring for our earth and sharing your important story with us.

Lets all be part of the solution and not the problem.

Keep up the wonderful work.

It is so important that people are made aware.
