Yesterday I was leaving a QT. This homeless man had a hot dog and went to sit down on the cement. He had a soda with him too. He was eating that hot dog like he hadn't eaten in months and it just broke my heart. I was just so happy for him.
I didn't have any money at the time to buy him more food. But I said God, the next time I have money and I see that man I'm going to buy him food. I had done doordash all day and had enough money, I finally bought my cat's this water drinking fountain I wanted. I know I should have used it to pay a bill, but I really wanted that fountain. I ended up with just $5 left on my card and I had $2 cash that I was going to buy a gallon of water for the new cat water drinking fountain. I went to the same QT to buy the gallon of water. I thought of going to Walmart, but the thought came no, go to QT.
I came out of the store and there was that man again and he was going to sit down on the cement again. All he had was a beve
rage. I asked him if he would like a hot dog and he said yes I would. I said okay let's go inside and I'll pay for it for you. The other day on my app for QT it had a buy one get one free slice of pizza and I told him. He said, oh I would rather have that! Well the coupon expired but I still had enough that I bought him two slices of pizza. I also had a free ice-cream shake on the QT app. I asked him if he would like one of those, he said sure.
I felt really, really good that I helped this man to get some food for today and also a treat at the end. ⤠ðŸ•ðŸ¦
