Appreciation Of Friendship

--by Butterkind, posted Mar 3, 2022
A senior friend of mine has several good sewing materials which she wants to give to me. She cannot sew anymore due to a dysfunctional nerve in one of her hands

I mentioned to her that I don’t sew but she is encouraging me to learn and tells me it can be fun. She did some research on the internet and sent me several links for sewing classes nearby.

I really appreciate her friendship. She is very encouraging and generous too.

Your friend did a wonderful job to inspire you to sew and helped you with links to learn in classes.

Sewing my oldest hobby. Probably more than 60 years ago I learned sewing just by practice sewing pillow cases and handkerchiefs. Eventually I was able to make my own pant and was able to repair many pants and shirts.

If we make up our mind, nothing is impossible. Just learn and move on and never ever think of quitting.

Wish you all the best. Happy sewing.
