Stories of Kindness from Around the World

Cool Evening Walk

--by SissyLee, posted Aug 31, 2024
The heat has me walking in the cool of the evening and last night I went by two of my favorite houses— they have incredible front yard gardens of flowers and veggies. It paused to admire the gladiolus at one and the couple came out and I was able to tell them how much pleasure their flowers brought me. They are very shy and got big smiles. And then the second house had its person outside, too with her corgi/german shepherd dog. Told her how impressed I was with her veggies, her psychedelic bee t-shirt and her fabulous dog. She also got a huge grin.
Here is a hot squirrel on a phone wire by our yard. He has water down below and some snacks for when he wants.
