*🔹 Root of the Problem*

There exists a society that is deeply deprived of education — not because of lack of resources, but because of _deep-rooted pride_.
Pride in land, money, and social status.
This pride has created an environment where:
- _Illegal activities_
- _Alcohol trade_
- _Violence and abuse_
- _Early marriages for girls_
have become normalized.

In the name of the elders’ _honor and legacy_, this entire community is trapped in _hollow traditions_.
Some youth have improved due to education, but many still remain stuck in _outdated beliefs_ and _regressive customs_.

*🔹 A Girl’s Story – A Reality for Millions*

She is married off at a very young age.
She spends a few years adjusting in her in-laws’ home.
Then she gives birth to _3–4–5 children_.

Her husband:
- Is an alcoholic
- Is abusive and violent
- Often ends up in jail
- And eventually dies young due to excessive drinking

Now what does this young woman do?

- She cannot remarry
- She cannot form a relationship with anyone else — _“family honor”_ stands in the way
- If she secretly tries to love again — _she could be killed_

So she _suffers in silence_.

To raise her children:
- She takes over her late husband’s _liquor shop_
- Society labels her as a _liquor seller_
- She endures _taunts_, _abuse_, and _mental and physical harassment_

Still, she:
- Raises her children
- Tries to educate them
But the mindset of the society is so _rigid_ that the children often fall back into the same cycle.

Eventually, this woman _loses_ — _she breaks down_.

This community has _one of the highest numbers of widows_.

We must _break this cycle_.
We must offer these women _dignified alternatives_.

*🔸 Our Mission:*
- Visit their villages and initiate _compassionate dialogue_
- _Listen_, _understand_, and _educate_
- Launch _home-based skill training programs_ that allow them to earn from home

- Cutting fabric pieces for garments
- Hand-embellishing sarees with beads/stones
- Handmade jewelry making
- Medical kit packing
- Sticker pasting and finishing work

These are jobs that:
- Have _market demand_
- Can be done _from home_
- And can provide _a respectable monthly income_
