Stories of Kindness from Around the World

The Math of Kindness

--by pmcc, posted Aug 27, 2010

We live in the San Francisco Bay Area and there are several bridges with tolls. Over the years and whenever we've felt moved to do so, we've paid the toll of the person behind us.

Sometimes the person catches us to us and waves. Sometimes they don't acknowledge it. No matter what they do, it is always worth it. Positive energy for little expense.

We are really giving to ourselves when we give to others because we are all one. All is one. 1 + 1 = 1. New math.

Even if they don't catch on at first, they will always remember it when they go to the toll both and One Day, their lives may not be so hectic and they say "I'm gonna pay for the person behind me" and that will be because of your choice to be kind at the Brigde toll first.

:) Smile! :) Aurelia
