Breakfast On The Streets

--by icare, posted Jul 30, 2012

I used to travel by train to my work place. The railway station was about ten minutes away from my home.

Every morning my husband would drop me a little distance away from the station. Several days in a row I noticed a sick man and an aged lady sitting along the route. They were begging for change. It wasn't even 8am!

I couldn't help but feel bad for them. So, I decided to take breakfast!

Starting the next morning I packed hot breakfasts and delivered them personally. The man was never happy with my breakfasts and used to keep on asking for money (which I never encouraged.)

The lady never complained. She just have me a big smile and enjoyed her breakfast!
