A Harvest Of Books

I organized a book harvest for our local primary school - which also happens to be my old school!

The school suffered a decline in performance making it one of the poorest performing, academically, in the region.

The book harvest happened after a consultancy that showed us the reading culture needed to be improved to achieve better results in the national examinations.

True to predictions the 1,100 books collected during the harvest have inspired improved results, leading to a rise in the average grade of the school, making it the most improved in our county.

I feel proud to be associated this this positive trend which will better equip the children for the transition to the next academic level.
