Stories of Kindness from Around the World

Can You Use This?

--by JuneBug, posted Apr 9, 2013

The last few days I have been thinking of items around my home that I don't use and getting rid of them. Why have them laying around and taking up space when someone else can use them?

I have a lot of books on watercolor painting that I knew I would probably never read again so I advertised them on Freecycle.

A young man replied with great interest. I piled the books together and put them on my front porch in double bags. I told him to come get them at his convenience and ran off to do errands.

The books are now gone and I hope he enjoys them! And so I will be looking for other things to bless people with that I don't want or need!
