Pancakes Followed By Pancakes

My husband and I enjoyed breakfast twice today!

The first time was at 6:45 a.m.when we served pancakes, fresh peaches, and homemade syrup to our dear neighbors who were flying out early to start a 9-month bike trip across Europe.

Then at 9:30 a.m. we served a fresh round of the exact same meal to our close friends who were on their way out of town to get married in another state.

Afterward, my husband and I joked about finding someone else to invite for elevenses, but at that point I don't think we could have eaten anymore pancakes!
