Beautiful In Mom's Blouse

A friend at work and I have helped each other through the recent deaths of our mothers. Because we know so very well how each other is feeling we meet up from time to time just to talk about how we are getting through the grief process.

She was dressed very nicely today and I stopped her to simply say, "You look stunning!"

She smiled a very appreciative smile and said, "It's one of my mom's blouses."

Knowing how much that would have meant to her I was so very glad I had noticed and made the effort to say something.
