The Smile Of A Child

--by lovelyxmalia, posted Oct 28, 2007
I was very very upset yesterday.  I don't know why, I think it was just the past series of events.  It seems all bad things happen in bundles to me.

My truck failed inspection.  I'm taking a car from an aunt who I can't stand.  We got into a huge argument the other day over college.  Apparently, I'm stupid for not taking more time off before going to school.

There have just been some bad events happening this week that have been bothering me.

I went into the gas station yesterday and took some money out of the atm.  I looked at my receipt and realized that I was -$45 in my account.  I got so upset, I started crying right there.  A little girl came up to me and hugged my leg and said, "Don't worry, when Mommy cries, I kiss her boo boos and it all goes away."  I turned around at her and smile and bent over and she gave me a huge hug and a kiss.

Her mother came over and looked a little startled.  I assured her that her daughter was just putting a smile on my face and told her what she said to me.  I told her she was very lucky to have such an amazing child.

Some young ones often show more emotional intelligence than us older folks.

Anything is possible in their world. Tip: Watch "The Secret" DVD (there is a book and audio cd too) by Rhonda Byrne. It is sweeping the world. I have been in your space before and this DVD changed my life. Take care...

At least you know your not alone with crying...she knew what to do because her mom has been through tough times too and was crying. Smile, it might help turn things around. ~Aurelia
