Keep Saying Thanks

--by tryingtolove, posted Jan 23, 2008

"Thank you" - these are but just two words but mean so much to a person to whom it is spoken.

I have a habit of thanking every person, right from a salesman in a shop to the teachers in my class. Maybe habit is not the right word for when I thank them I really mean it. Often my friends mock me saying, ' Why are you thanking them, it's their job. They are paid for it. You needn't be obliged for that.'

But my take is different. As a person I love if someone thanks me for a good deed I did or if I helped them in any way. It fills me with happiness. So I thank those who have helped me.

So I request you all to take a few minutes to thank a person today because just these two words can make him/her happy.

I also mean it and you know something that is something makes you and others feel so Happy about it. I mean when I heared someone Thanking me in the Plane I was more than Happy to hear that. Also I just Thanked my teacher before coming here. So Keep It Up...!!!

Being paid for a job is not what makes someone treat you with courtesy and make you want to go back to that place of business, it's the smiles you get and you should say Thank You to them when you are treated nicely. Thank You for the reminder. ~Aurelia

My son had to go to work on sunday early and wanted to stop at Mcdonalds on the way, but, I felt that we did not leave early enough for the stop, but we stopped anyway. the young girl in the drive thru had our order ready so fast i was impressed and told her so and thanked her. she told me that she was only doing her job but had a smile on her face. I told her that she did her job well and went on our way.
everyone needs tho know that they have
vakue and worth and sometimes all is needed is a "thank you" to let someone know that.
thanks for the reminder.
