Crossing Guard Helped by Driver

--by pasil, posted Aug 11, 2008

I was driving my daughter to swim team after school on a rainy day and I was watching the crossing guard struggling with his umbrella, which had broken and turned inside out.  We pulled over and I opened the window and handed him my brand new umbrella so he could stay dry.  He was so thankful and we drove off smiling.

I bought a supply of umbrella's just in case, I saw someone as wet as me. I did give the last one away, and that seems long ago. I think I will stock up again. Thanks for the reminder

Ha! ;)

if so, that is all the more better that you stopped to show your appreciation and help him out. =)
