Have you read the book "Under the Overpass" by Mike Yankoski? Amazing book! As college students Mike and a friend chose to become homeless for five months. Going from people who had all they needed and more, to being homeless, dirty, smelly, hungry ... and often times ignored or looked down upon. The book is about their journey and what they learned and gives us a better look at what WE can do and practical ways to make a difference. I give it a total thumbs up.
Kuddos to you, guin, for serving from your heart. Grace and Peace. ~PayingForward
