Cake At The Thrift Store
I work for thrift store and the ladies I work with are great! They make me smile on a daily basis (even when they sometimes make me want to scream.)
However, I had been off work for six weeks and when I returned last week they reminded me every day that I had been missed and they were glad I was back.
It touched me to my soul.
So, I baked them a cake to let them know they were all appreciated! I went to work with a sheet cake and came home with an empty pan!
It was a good day!

Day 3 Of 21: Book Fever
Okay I can do this! I love the written word: books! I love to share my love of books to all that will listen to me drone on and on about my favorite authors. With today's challenge in mind, I bought my niece a Kindle book that she has been wanting. I also loaned a Kindle book to a friend of mine, whom I am trying to convince that reading is a good thing.
If you have a chance and haven't read her work yet, I recommend picking up a Cathy Lamb book. My two favorites are The Last Time I Was Me and Julia's Chocolates. They are wonderful reads, touching and very true to life!
