Seeing Real Beauty
Last weekend my family and I were in the store and as I was riding on my scooter an ederly man approached my daughter and with teary eyes said, "she is perfect." I guess he could sense my daughter's confusion, so he pointed to me and said, "Your mom is perfect just as she is."
I thanked him with all of my heart and as we parted I could not help but cry a little with joy. He had made me feel good deep in my spirit. Living with deformities is not an easy task daily, but on this day he saw me not as a disabled person, but as a child of God living this life the best I can.
I'm still deeply grateful for our encounter :)

The Most Heartfelt Hug
Something so cool happened to my hubby and I on Friday!
We were leaving the post office and I handed this random guy a card we had made which says: "This Card Is To Certify That I Am Loved By The Members Of A FiveOh4 Uplifting!"
The guy says thank you with a huge smile and walks away. As we approach our car the guy walks up to me and says, "I have to do this!" and gives me one of the most heartfelt hugs I've had in a very long time!
That hug was SO worth it!
