“Your total is $48.95. You want to add something to make it $50?” asked Amber, the grocery cashier.
If a customer’s total is $50 or more, you get .10 cents off each gallon of fuel at their affiliated gas station.
“Sure,” I replied. “Go ahead and pick out a candy bar for yourself.”
Amber chose a king-sized Hershey’s chocolate bar with almonds. Then she gifted me with her excellent laugh and appreciation. 😊
☕️ Since it was spitting a little snow (ah, spring in the Hills!) I bought an extra box of hot cocoa mix and left it in the goodie basket for my sister's apartment building residents.
🍫 And guess what the mail delivered? A Belize crafted chocolate bar, plus a beautiful wire angel, from a dear KS friend. Love that chocolate karma!
