Then we brainstormed ideas of what we could do in our class, our community, and our school to show kindness. The postman, the waiter,the maintenance man were all included. Then we stretched our arms out to the elderly. This went on for the whole month. Baking, sharing notes. And we developed what i called the polite patrol. Those were kids with heart badges on the playground that "caught a child helping another" and bringing it to our attention.
